Well until we can get a translation, we're stuck. There's at least 6,000+ letter combinations that could be used for the red box. Unfortunately I have no desire to try and figure it out by plug and chug. But if we can find out what those symbols mean on the couch note, we'll be good to go.

yeah I agree I think I might just leave this game for a while doesn't seem like were going to make progress for a bit.

For what its worth I found out that on the note in the sofa:

赤=red
箱=box
黄色=yellow

Do you have a chinese/japanese font installed on your computer? All I see on that page are question marks (and English translations on hover)

How do you work out the score i mahjong? I think the tiles change i every game. I've got 3 layouts on mahjong board.

Only got 1 item missing from inventory.

Used knife to cut green mahjong tile on floor. It gave me a green key. Opened cabinet and got third mahjong set
