Left of the door is a secret compartment. Click around and find it. The gold key is there.

Walkthrough

Walkthrough:

Get keycard from under seat(cushion).
Click the top left of the table and get a bamboo pole.
Turn right and click on the scrolls on the cabinet. Click them one by one and get a note.
Now check the middle drawer for another note.
Turn right and move the pot and the painting.
Use the bamboo pole on the hole beneath the pot and it'll unlock the compartment behind the painting. Get the silver key.
Turn right. Left of the door, there is a secret compartment the size of a door. You should be able to see the lining. Find it and get the gold key.
Above the door is a kunai. Use bamboo pole to get it.
Turn right and open window. Use bamboo pole on the hooks above the window.
Below the window is another secret compartment. Use the silver key on it.
Use the kunai on the rock to get a rope.
Turn right and use gold key to unlock cabinet.
Code requires Japanese knowledge. Combining the two notes will give you an old Japanese name of the month.(From Nordinho)
Important: You have to get both pieces of paper and READ them before the code works.

Attach hook to rope and use it on the pole above the window.
Climb down and you're out.

Your not alone, I can't play it either. Even cleared my cache, closed the browser, nothing seems to work

I don't have troubles playing it - and if it doesn't work at first try, once refreshing helps... I'm using IE7, but I'm not quite sure if that has an importance.
