I'm not sure what browser you are using, I'm using Internet Explorer and it works.
However, you should also make sure that you have the latest Flash Player (currently version 9).

i must be nuts. why can't i cross the bridge? i have made the hammer and all, but nothing. ??

To cross the bridge you need to:

@Engine1guy

1. make the hammer from yellow pole + black object

2. click down on left side of bridge where you see the number

3. touch hammer on it

4. Repeat on other side where you found yellow pole

5. hit bridge again in middle

6. then click on the bookshelf

@mistery: i also use internet explorer but it still doesn't work!! for all the other games it works,it's only with this game that i have the problem.
