You have to turn the xmas trees on the wall lights on too before you can get the key

my dog eate the cake but now it won't give me the key
i turned on all the lights and candels...but i still can't see the key

in my inventory i still have the lighter activated and i have the dirty plate too....am i missing smth ?

I had to give up.

I did everything in the game that I could, but I couldn't get the snowman to take the puffy ball thingy. I even tried turning the lights off and on and turning around a lot in the room. So I finally gave up. *sigh* Did everything up until that point, though...

This dog is driving me insane! I've lit

the christmas tree lights, the pic of the christmas trees, the 3 candles, the single candle, the snowmans wand, the dolls house and the lights on the floor by the shelves

Am I missing some lights? I've also fed the dog his cake and he is by the tree, but I can't see a second key. And I've turned the lights on and off so often it's beginning to resemble a disco!

Yes, several times. There's nothing clickable on the dog at all though.

Duh. Out now. The problem was that I had refreshed it earlier and forgotten to refind the N. I had got it into my head that it must be what was in the drawer. Then I remembered it was the first thing I found earlier and lo! Thanks guys.

The three stars left of the shelves, the candle on the top of the shelf, the house, the three candles at the window, the snowman's wand, the color changing Christmas tree picture and the door. Missed anything?

I think you didn't turn on the door's light. Once you put the letters, you need to click the button on the left of the door. Not the one that turns the room lights on and off.
