For puzzle pieces

Click on the red stocking, when the cat opens its mouth, there's a piece;
Examine both skis, from top to bottom;
Shake the hat you found inside the bottom drawer, and you'll get another one;
There is one piece inside each present, open them with the scissors;
Cut the cake, and the chairs with the axe;
Use the broom to sweep the snow outside the house, and then the shovel to get the piece

For the key

Click (with the key selected) above the drawers, and around it, a locker will appear

I can not get the log. I have read all posts, cleared branches, and emptied inventory.....what am I doing wrong???

Try clicking the hand, then the log.

i cant seem to "use " d log... its d hand dats still selected in my inventory.. how do i get to click on d log(its ALready on ma invent.)

Bah, now I don't know where to put the key... and is it completely necessary to finish the puzzle? I can't get the one from Santa, and I think I'm missing at least 3 more, besides.

EDIT: I'm missing 16 puzzle pieces!

Make sure that all of the branches are gone... the log should be completely smooth. Then make sure your inventory is empty.

I can't use the log on the door. Should I have done something else first?

I first listened very well to each tone, if you can visualize well, you can give it numbers (1 2 3 4) and then associate the sound to the number. While you're listening, get a paper and look only to the paper, or close your eyes, and focus on only the sounds, then write down the number that corresponds to the sound. It only worked for me this way...cause I too am terrible with tones

If you were trying to get out of a room, and had this huge and strong log that you could hit on something, where would you use it?

Right click on the little clock house and then click "Zoom in"

Set the clock to midday/midnight and pull the ropes three times, and then click on the small door, now you have to be quick and get the puzzle piece from santa's hand, keep trying till you get it
