Yay, got it!
But it wasn't the

table leg, but the chair leg

You should be able to unscrew the "cap" and then click on the "cap" and it will change views to show the blue ball.

I did it w/o selecting anything and went straight to it and did it after I restarted.

one is under trapdoor (not sure if you need to select blue key or not); use this to open panel on wall to get 2nd screwdriver

Dunno. I went through it again and did the same thing for Ending2 again.

Since the Panda moved, I clicked on the floor where it was sitting and used the blue key on the keyhole and that was it.
