Can't find the way to get the cats to help me with the red key.... only 2 show up. Help please??

not sure how I did it but a third cat will come to boost the left cat who can't quite make it up top

I'm stuck with

the ball from the cat machine and all the puzzle pieces from the six cages.

I have no idea what to do now.

For the red key:

Click the one on the left, then the fat cat at the bottom to give him a boost

Well.... the cat on the left can't be clicked.... and the one on the right doesn't do anything.... I guessed it was a bug but I restarted it and nothing.... just the same...
