I am trying to transalte the latin. I think

"ab exterioribus, ad interiora" means: from outside to inside.

Now let's see what if I can come up with something for the other Latin.

I had translated them (post #48) the second loosely translates to

"the wise man can understand that which befuddles the donkey."

Or so I gather.

OK, so I got from the closet:

violin, rosin, and another card (11 total)

The cards go on the piano after you put the bar on it. Now I'm stuck again.

It looks like the arm of the grandfather clock is a bow... but I can't seem to get it.

Have you gotten the stick from the birdcage yet? That props the clothes back to reveal another coded lock, and that opens the back of the closet.

Yes, I have, but I don't know what to do with the wheel puzzle. I tried to make words with the letters.

OK, for the closet:

starting with the outside circle and both treble clefs in the slots, you will move the outside circle counterclockwise, inside clockwise based on the number of bass and sax players in the center of the wheel (match dark with dark light with light)
keep doing this until you spell out an instrument that isn't always the English spelling, but is pretty close to an English word for an instrument.

edit: now if I could just find that bow.. it's either on the curtain road or in the clock I think

Use the stick to get it from the top of the curtains, the curtain holder, or whatever it is called

Did you move the wheels as many times as the amount of white/gray instruments you have?

To start it: the first letter is the letter that appears in the slot in the bottom after you turn it counterclockwise from it's starting point the number of corresponding musicians in the middle. Don't return it to it's starting point, however. The second letter will come from the inside ring, after turning it indicated number of slots clockwise. The 3rd letter will come from the outside ring after turning it the number of places and so on for six letters.

It's hard for me to explain properly, let me know if this doesn't make sense

ok not sure if it's different, but I have 3 gray and 3 white so I move each row that many times


the outside right 2 get to the O is only 4 spaces for me on the inside it's 6 spaces to the O

Oh! I didn't know the number of sax players and bass players changes with each game. If you click in the middle circle, you can count how many spaces you are supposed to move. If you have three of each player, then yes, I guess you would only move 3 spaces.
