I replayed, and the piano playing bit (to get the code for the painting safe) and the closet safe do change apparently, but I was able to work out the new closet code using the same technique, so hope it works for you next time!

it was open... i think. i just cut it anywhere... i did it twice-- and restarted...

when sharpening the scissors, you need to drag the scissors back and forth -- even if you hear a soung -- don't just hold them over it.

okay so i found a new note -- not the 1/12 ones...but one with music notes and i played the green vinyl on the piano and figured out the notes then counted the intervals in between notes and got my code.

cut the bottom left of the painting and you'll enter who the composer is... then you enter your code into the safe

Uhggh, I accidentally closed the game and had to start over.

OK, for the closet:

starting with the outside circle and both treble clefs in the slots, you will move the outside circle counterclockwise, inside clockwise based on the number of bass and sax players in the center of the wheel (match dark with dark light with light)
keep doing this until you spell out an instrument that isn't always the English spelling, but is pretty close to an English word for an instrument.

The word for the closet changes for each game, as do the number of sax and bass players in the middle so you'll have to work it out. If you can't get it, pm me a screen shot and I'll try to figure it out for you

Well, I already was thinking I needed that (I have a violin, though I don't play it. ), just haven't found
