I fixed the pipe with the nail and then turned in. poured the liquid in the little box. now I have a key, but nowhere to use it

I restart and hit the nail with the brick. It went to inventory and its really small. Use it on the propeller in fireplace

edit: did what RBS told us and got the nail!

The item everybody is having trouble finding appears in your inventory between the gray hammer and toolbox. Its real small.

big key on ladder, but that just gives a bad end...
Looking at inventory, I guess we need at least 2 more items and if they're not too big, even more. But I have hit about every place and pixel in this game, but still no luck...

It made no sense pouring the water on box to get a key. I think the game wants us to do things in the wrong order. Restarted many times trying everything but always end up stuck in the same place.

Oh I did notice on restart the last colour on the box was different....it was another colour before

I think we might have to strengthen the key by heating it up and beating it with the hammer....

I think the box

wasn't a toy box but a mould and the liquid wasn't water but some kind of liquid metal.

But guessing this, doesn't help me any further though
