Finally finished the 8 days. It was good but I was expecting a good ending. It got over really fast.
Thanks to Anode & Cathode for the wonderful game.

Well, that one seemed to go on for ages!
Still, its done now so I can finally relax.

BTW, if anyone else just gets a blank screen for the ending, just right click and select play....mind you, I'm not sure its really worth it!

Still, quite a good game even with the bugs, I'm still looking forward to the next one. I wonder when that one will be released!

hey - is there still anybody there???
i read in some posts, that other guys had problems to give the stone to the smoking guy in the bar - CHAPTER 1.
Everybody seems to have solved this problem by himself - except me.... i am still stuck at this point - can somebody help me please!?!?!?

Walkthrough originally taken from Anode and Cathode's Games Forum

Here's a walkthrough for the chap. 1 enjoy

Get the red thing from the table beside the bed and the green thing from above the door, they're a bit of paper and a vial.
Go out the door, down the steps, turn around 180 degrees-ish and click on the ringing phone(to the right of the bar window)
Click on the number panel, and keep clicking to see the story(it's in white text ont he left side of the screen)
Pick up the money from the right hand side of the till.
Go in the bar and use the money on the bartender. Select "make it a round for the house"
Go back outside, and use the coin in the phone. Punch in the numbers on the paper, backwards: 862754553
Take the key, and turn around to look at the statue.
Click on the silver thing on the middle person's neck to get the necklace.
Go back inside the bar, and give the key to the man on the right.
Go in the door, talk to the man, and take the stone.
Give the necklace and the stone to the girl on the left in the main bar.
Take the jewel, and put it in the red box visible on the center bottom of the statues. 6 red buttons should now be visible.
From left to right, these are the number of times you click each one: 1 1 1 0 2 3
Click on the jewel again, and once more to take it.
Go back to your room and put it in the hole in the wall.
Click into the mirror just one time, and you're done!

Walkthrough for chapter 2

Look in items and read message. Click on Antidote in your items

Step 2
Go out door you are taken to a house

Talk to the guy then pick up the box he left behind him then go out into the hallway then right out the door, down the front and get the bus back to town

Step 3
Deliver the Package

Go into the bar and go into the back room, deliver the package and he will ask you to ring someone. Go outside and head down the alley then turn back towards the pub, facing this way you can see a ring in the drain. Get it then go so your facing the other way again neer the builder. Wait untill he has his smoke and then quickly steal his tools. Go to the bus stop behind the builder and back to the mansion

Step 4
Find the phone number and give him a call

Back in the mansion use the screw driver to dissable the alarm neer the door then using the spanner click on the buttons below each picture, a number will light up on each one. The numbers will read out 724613694. Go back into town and use the coin with the phone then type the number into the phone

Walkthrough about chap. 3

="8 days walkthrough")Look for a flying insect
Enter the door
Break something (1)
Enter another room and get something else (2)
(1) (2) make another item - use this somewhere in the 1st room
Find a doorway and pick up 3 articles which you should fill with something else then leave
Another doorway, try to open coffins and look for 3 articles
Back to bar, talk to people leaving bar between each one and then entering again
\when bar is empty use one of the artcles found in coffins
You should then find something which you will know what to do with
Another article, which if you have searched the crypt properly will automatically become clear where this goes

I wont spoil all the game so these are just hints

Walkthrough about chap. 4

="8 days walkthrough")Go to hotel room IMMIDIATELY and drink the green potion found on the floor. Then click on the mirror and talk to Natasha and pay attention to who she tells you to go see
LABYRINTH:

Coffin crypt, in one of the inner rooms*check a particular hole on the wall* here you will find the way to whom Natasha sent you. Talk and listen/read & he'll give you a huge jewel(ruby) then voila a new place to go to*check your map/bus route*

BUS:


Go to swamp and click on cat, cat morphs, listen...a puzzle will be revealed...unravel the puzzle(bookcase and paper hanging by the books are connected)
HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

no need to translate, just look for familiar words from the paper on to the books, click on books in order you see it on the paper & NOTE how many books there are for future use. Also NO letters are needed for pw


After revealing a number from the book puzzle, you now should have 6 numbers*check for ROMAN numerals but one of the numbers that looks like a roman is really NOT, it is as you see it individually*---click on the box where you found the cat, a passcode box should appear...type in your 6 digit code*

KEYS:

Use them on the other boxes, last box should give you a tooth. Go out...

SWAMP ROADS:

Find somebody and give him the tooth & he'll give you a golden bracelet*I think, can't remember* in return

GOLDEN BRACELET:


Go back to right side door in the bar and give him the bracelet. He'll tell you the beginning of 8 riddles*you have to find 7 other ppl to tell you the rest*repetitive task*
HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

Give the RUBY to the person that tell you the FOURTH riddle

RIDDLE:
er>After
solving all the riddles, go back to the bar and click on the box beside that guy and another passcode box should show, if not then simply go EVERYWHERE & check to make sure that everyone else you've talked to has disappeared except for guy in the coffin and guy on the street across from the 3 statues. The passcode is the sum of 7 riddles*quite tricky--i.e. # of coffins, sum from red paper>> think outside the box on these ones folks, don't just count what you see* When you open the box it should give you a golden tooth...hand it to him and he'll tell you to go see someone*remember, only 2 other ppl left aside from bar guy*

RIDDLES:


1) # of hours: 8 days x 24 hours = 192
2) Coffins: including all holes 60
3) Paintings: 8
4) Horodor's Code: code from swamp = 411273
5) Sum of Red paper from inventory: Add each digit(JUST tel. #) = 45
6) Bill from the phone *1st episode*= 500
7) # of books(swamp) = 20
ADD'em up and input that in the box by the bar guy
