Lights switches ??

I have done everything that was posted about switches AND I CAN NOT get them right ! I see no "lights",I hear a "click" when you click on wrong picture but nothing else. I have tried both 1 and 2 then go to "SUN" picture but nothing! What is the RIGHT way to do this?? Loving the game though for sure !! Any help out there ????

As for swithces, I ha dyour same problem..

Yoou must go out from the house, go to some other place, just doing nothing, then came back to Elisabeth's home and you'll find a man there... talk to him and only afther doing this put the switches on...

To make things easier, let's just call the switch on the left Switch A and the one on the right Switch B.

You should notice that both Switches A and B have the settings OFF, 1, and 2.
They are both set at the OFF position to start with. That obviously won't do, since we need to be getting light on one of the paintings in the other room.
Flip the switches to whichever setting.
Then back away, and go look at the paintings. Check the colours of the lights, and where they are.
If they're not together, and over "The Dark Sun" then go back, and try a different combination. (The switches have reset themselves to the OFF position, but that's easily fixable).
Once the two lights combine to form a yellow light over the proper picture, click on it. Go from there.

I'm so stuck, how do u find more suspects? ive only spoken to the cleaner and his wife, ant find any1 else!

p.s, if u click the piano, near the edge where the stool is, u get a bloke/easter egg playing, but cant talk to him!

and wheres these switches and curtains yr talking about?
