that's the same as me. I get through loads of text, then get to that and nothing changes. I already have javascript enabled and other java games work, so I dunno what the problem is. I left it for 3 hours while I did other stuff and when I went back it was still the same, so it's obviously not a loading problem.

How do you know if you have the key? I clicked where the walkthrough says the key it, but it doesn't appear in my inventory.
