Without flashlights you can't go into the basement, it says its too dark.

Goggles, Phone and Paper

I think you might be able to get the Nightvision Goggles and the Cell Phone again in the next Acts, just like the Tape, and eventually there will be a chance to use them.

About the paper in the cannon, you can get it after you complete the stuff on the Script. Once you fill in the missing number and quote on the second half of the Act III Script, the cannon will lower and you'll be able to get the paper. But it only tells you where to go to see the ending scene of Act III

Ok, I'm confused. I've finished everything in the script for Act III, I've talked to everyone... how do I get the paper outta the cannon?! Or if I don't need to, then where do I go for this to be over? I've been working at this for a while, and it's driving me guano. Thx!

where is the canon

you have to finish your script and than go to the upper room, somewhere - I don't know what it is in english, but when you are on stage and you klick on the large white "?" it reminds you on Rome. Hope you know what I mean with "?" ah I remember "columns". So klick on the columns and go to the upper room, there is the canon and some more stuff.
