The meaning is something like "f*****" or "e*****". However, neither of those work.

It says "The whole entire next key is contained in a single symbol", so I think the key is contained in the translation of the symbol.

about the code, it may be either a ceaser cypher or a simple substitution cipher. I has to be simple since there are no hints for it. However, I have not worked on it yet.

You are close... Its another word that has the same meaning and is a few letters off of one of your answers

As far as #8 it appears to be a simple Cryptogram
