okay...18 has me stumped...I'm trying to think logically about it, but I just can't seem to get it right!!!

there are only 12 boots total if there are 6 pairs each of black and brown...so to get one pair that matches, wouldn't it be logical that if you take 7 boots out, there should be a match at least once???

yep...it's the snail one...I used a calculator for it...finally got them all!

The triangle one was very difficult...had to actually look that answer up!

think of three books on the shelf. pull out the first one and look at page one. now imagine yourself putting it back. where is page one? Imagine pulling out the third book....where is the last page when you put it back on the shelf?

You have 6 pairs of black and 6 pairs of brown. You need to get at least one more that half of the total boots to make sure that at least 1 pair is definitely matching.
