    • Oh I did...saw a little black square. Not too helpful. However, someone else posted the riddle...and I thought I solved it, but it didn't work.

        • the question on the forum that i'm gettin is

In the book, "_____" is defined as:
"The pretense that all of the individual items
in a given pseudocategory are exactly equal."

am i in the wrong place?

          • No, that's right Manda. I think the rest of us are on the one after that. Just do a google search for that definition.

              • Ok. Let's prove my mathmatical stupidity. The product of two numbers is when you multiply them right? So we should be multiplying 2 3-digit prime numbers together to get a 5 digit number where all 5 digits are unique.

                Or am I off?

                    • Yes that's right I think. The number we want is the largest possible 5 digit number with each digit a different number

                      • how would we go about answering this question?

                        Comment

                        • I just realized though...the 2 3 digit numbers are actually 2 seperate numbers...so it's not like multiplying 311 x 311. Now..the largest possible 5 digit number with unique numbers would have to 98765, wouldn't it?
