After a long break, I am back on this riddle, and stuck at 3 points.

I am puzzled what to do. Everything I tries doesn't work. Thought the numbers were measurements, and when I puzzle with that knowledge and put them together, I end up with 8 empty squares.

I found the egg, and the c***d******, but not the right date. Not all sites agree about this, and the right date doesn't seem to be that clear actually.

I am left two 2 letters, but can't make the answer with them.

imagine the tiles are fixed at the point where the circles are, they rotate around the nail. No need to move them left or right.

R4: Use the Wikipedia date (the riddle generally works from there).
