to make sure im not doing this wrong, are you both getting bifids that decoded begin with "TICPEFOSIOH....." ?

That's the initial one I got. I tried a few other things but got nothing any better.

me too, I feel pretty relieved to know you had the same answers, I was going over and over again about the deciphering method, even encoding some easy sentences to see if I was doing the reverse ok

Yup, seems that way. I've tried trifid by adding a null in the 27th position, but no joy.

alright all, i think i'm going to sleep on this one. i'll probably be on bright and early to figure this one out, cuz things like this bug me till i solve them. ^__^ later all; hopefully there'll be some great burst of revelation! hehe.
