Edit2: Stuck on 60. I think I've gotten the light and shadowed letters, but will need some more help.

Edit3: Hehe. On 61 now. Stuck on grid. Got letters, now trying to make a word out of them.

Could someone please help me with how many steps to take with the compass on level 61. I thought i had it but all i got was a bunch of letters that don't make any sense. So then i tried many variations of what i think i should be doing and nothing works!!!

The hint in this forum about the positioning of the letters was wrong...you should

consider | like starting from 0

...sound cryptic but look at the source again, and this should make some sense now, and you won't go off the grid this time
