8 is kinda different.

This is a code I made up, so you won't find it anywhere. Figure out who they are talking about. A hint is "initials". Once you figure out that, you have to figure out how to solve the code. Look at the previous clue also. What you get after solving it is a riddle. Solve the riddle and use the second part of the clue to get to the next clue.

OK, I am trying not to give it away and spoil it completely. Hope that helps

Here is another hint on #8.

The code is deciphered using an object. The name of the the person leading to the object is a play of words in the clue. (He who walks softly) Figure out the object and use it to figure out the first part of the clue. Then use the riddle you get to find the word you need. Then use that as a key for the second part of the clue (The last line of letters)

Ok... I am probably really over thinking this... Clue # 2... I solved the Four Five squares, and have another clue... but I am thoroughly confused by it... I think I know... but nothing I enter as a password is working?

You are doing good. The first part was a little hard. Figure out what the first part is talking about (beyond what you already know) and use it as a key with the second part.

i definitely like these kinds of riddles...anything that has a storyline and teaches you some history...

GOT IT!!! I was looking for a much longer keyword...passed it over a cpl times thinking it was too simple

Good job! I started making it harder than it is, but changed it to make it more fun. I was going to leave out info from the journal and make people have to search online for it. Figured it would have been too difficult. No one has solved it -yet. Think you maybe the one that will do it first.

9th clue. Ooo, I had to look it up and try to figure it out myself again. It's been a while. Since Flyboy1135 is on this clue, I was looking at it anticipating some questions. It's interesting. Trying to think of another hint to give. But alas, I think I will leave it up to you to figure out for now.
