Can somebody please give me a little nudge on 28? Here's where I've stalled.
I used the way back machine to search for Google. I went to both May 7 and July 5, 2001 and typed in the 7th word from each. Nothing. Am I totally off?A PM would be ever so helpful. Thanks!

Beginning of the End
Is it just me, or did the garbled text below "Continue to Life: 20" get added since this page was first posted?
Has anyone else translated it yet? Is it too much of a spoiler to say that it's inRussian? Probably not since it's not really related to solving anything - at least I don't think so . . .
P.S. Apparently Google's translator doesn't do this language. I had to search a little bit to find a page that did this language to English.

that no good, rotten #28
I finally decided to join and not lurk after I got completely stuck on #28. Thanks for your help on some of the other ones, though.
I'm just really not getting what I'm supposed to do here. I understand that
the whole thing has something to do with internet archives and the Wayback Machine, and that has to do with the date of the picture's filename. I'm just really not sure what website archive I'm supposed to search for. I've tried both May 7, 2001 and July 5, 2001, as well as May 6, 2001 and July 4, 2001 as per the hint in the page source about "-1" but I have no idea what it is that I'm looking for exactly. I suppose it's the seventh word on the page, but what page? I've looked up the archives from those dates of Google, Google News, Antiriddle, and the Archives themselves, but no dice.
Can anyone PM me with something a little more specific? Does this page even have a eureka moment or is it just a plug-n-chug deal? Some riddles have had these terribly clever answers that make everything abundantly clear, but I feel like this was probably not one of them. This one's just hard.

that russian text in the currently 'last' puzzle, loosely translates to 'PATIENCE MY FRIENDS, THE PATIENCE' according to 'Altavista Babelfish'. I'm a bit surprised that Google didn't have translation abilities for Russian, especially since it's rival Altavista does.
