I am getting a little impatient and fed up now. No matter how much I look at the picture all I can see is a pound sign, but it doesn't quite fit. I wish the Guardian would hurry up and give us another clue. Preferable before I go insane.

I'm kinda expecting this to end up with us finding out that the picture is not supposed to look like or have anything to do with a pound symbol, I've tried that a couple of times before, where you stare yourself so blind at something, that you lose any ability to think outside the box

I drew it out and shaded in the shape, tried knight, horse, unicorn, chess/piece...lol. nothing! Here's something funny too. I looked (focused) at the right outer edges of the shape, looks like ET (from the movie). I know I'm grasping at straws now) and that didn't work either

Same here, it makes more sense to me, if it's a chess piece, so that's what I'll focus on now and push the pound thought aside.

And LenLen, grasping at straws is still better than grasping after air
