Found the first step on 15, but...
Thoughts:

16 lines. 16-letter word? Or does =16 mean hex?
I suspect the typos are intentional, which coupled with the irregular lines implies counting letters, but I can't make sense of what I've counted.
I can't see anything in lengths of words, or number of words per line either.
Final thought:

I was wrong on all counts; thanks to Edgar, solved it now. Mtatt, I had the second page (that's what I meant by "found the first step", not very clear, sorry). Moving on...
