well, I found the name of the <<deleted>>painter, but that doesn't work, so I thought that the portrait was done by him and I need that persons name but there are very few images of his works on the internet that I can find.

Hi To All!

Popped in to see how things are going. I'm glad to see some are advancing nicely. I ask just one thing from all - no posting answers even in spoilers. It ruins the game for all. A riddle is a challenge upon ones mind and that's all the fun so please let others rack their brains a bit and wake up sleeping gray matter on their own. This of course does not discourage working in teams - which I deeply support - just use PM's for serious hints or answers.
I thank you all for playing and will be here for the next hour if anyone needs me.

Hmm I'm not sure about advancing nicely, been stuck at this point all morning...lol. I am hunting for a breakthrough in dispair! Really enjoying the challenge of the riddle so far!

Can someone please help me? No matter how many times I read the clues and the page, I can't even get past the starting page. I've tried every variation of everything I can come up with and nothing works, no matter how simple it seems (since people kept saying it's simple).
