Don't worry, I couldn't get it either til I noticed the background (very faint).

Now I'm stuck on level 2. I've got all the bottom flags except the far left and can't get the main one.

Edit: got those two flags so now I have

a word at the bottom and the name of the flag, but how do those fit together? Or what do I do with them?

If you google the year (specifically in Google), it's the first answer that comes up.

Kim,

that wasn't the only city destroyed in the eruption, there was another

try looking up the volcano in wikipedia, it'll tell you there which two cities were destroyed

Don't be too worried about it, I didn't get it until I looked up the year and then only got the next one because I recognised the statue (I'm a big volcanology fan and I saw that one in one of my books)


Anyone got any hints for level 2? I've tried various ways of using the names of the flags, the first letters, the word made by the first letters of the flags and the name of the top flag, but nothing's working.

EDIT: I've gotten something but evidently not the answer, I got to a page that said

Songbird, you are on the right track. You need the name of the p?lace. Search the title and that p?lace word together with the creature in the first flag. Wiki helps! Oh and yep, its china

Anyway, anyone want to help me with Lvl 4?

Thanks scorpiona! Finally got it, now am completely stumped by level 3 lol. Then again, I have only been trying for a minute or 2.

Este, wikipedia has a good resource, try looking up the gallery of flags, then search by type, you can find each flag on there, including the dragon one.

Hi everyone! I am trying to start this riddle but don't see that happening without extra help.
I have tried lines & letters counting left to right or right to left, even beginning from the last row but come up to think i am totaly on wrong track

Agsk, the answer is very literally on the page, within the first few lines. It took me half an hour before I got it but it's more literal than anything, in that it's actually right in front of you, not hidden or anything.

songbird: hahaas...Lets see. you need the period of time of the PAINTING. If you don't know the time at least you know that its goes like something Century. And it is situated in america. I used Yahoo! images for this one. And what you need is the name of the place not the event. Good luck!
