I think I know what to do on the new version of level 42, but can't quite find the right answer. If anyone has solved the new version, can you PM me? I've tried several I**N's, but haven't found the right one yet. I solved the old version, so don't really need it, but wanted to try the new one as well.Comment

i was away from this one day or two and what i see here now, with all the complaints, the answers, the answers to the answers is a bad example to the players who are starting now this riddle... i feel sorry to say it but it´s what i think..
the creators of the game can and must do what they want with the game... look the "amnesya" example... still waiting for new levels and no arguing...
i was the only one person to assume here (see my coment in the main page) in public that i took answers ang give answers... i also gave hints and received hints.. normal thing in a game like this because i believe that no one is ruining the spirit of the game... the solution to this is simple: erase the top list and hide the players that passed the levels.. that way no one knows who passed and who didn´t.. just send an email when someone finish the level or the game...
i must be the only "outsider" player that knows the real motive that begin all this confusion and i must say that i can´t understand it... the more i try to understand it the less i understand it...
i think it´s time that we all act like grown people and respect the decisions of the creators and moderators.. those who don´t want to do that can go play 99chambers or dracula or hundreds of other ridlles...
that is what i´ll be doing from now one cause i´m leaving this game...
i feel very happy cause i´m helping a person with 16/17 years old that is playing this correctly and that person is having a lot of fun... that is my biggest reward...
i feel happy for bringing a lot of portuguese people to this game and i hope they finish it correctly...
so, and once again, i ask the creators to remove my name from the top list and wish u all happiness and good health...
please forgive me anything i did wrong and thanks for all the good moments i had here...

Well, I for one will be sorry to see you go. You've been a great help to me throughout the first 5 levels, but I respect your opinion. What you might have missed though is that jobstidjing (or however it's spelled LOL) posted here ASKING for all comments on the riddle so that he could provide our feedback to the riddle admins. So what you've seen in recent posts is a combination of pent-up frustrations mixed with blunt/honest answers to a direct query from one of the riddle moderators.Originally posted by pmsl1973 View Post

I for one will miss you pedro, your a good player and during the start of what I'm now officially calling "THE ROT" (when answers started changing) solved more than your fair share of the new answers with me. I hope in the fullness of time you change your mind.

And yes, I did see that jobstijding asked for PMs (which I sent) and posts at the official forum (which I did) LOL but in the end, it all kinda spilled over into this forum as well. Even muzzy64 did cross-posting to cover the various issues, so I don't think any of us thought it was issue. Once again, I apologize if my comments were offensive in any way.Comment

I'm still trying to re-solve 42 with no luck. So many possible ideas... which road to follow?? My head hurts
