On 26b, it's really easy to get onto the wrong track with what he invented. I would suggest you actually click on the wiki page where it mentions his invention. Because then you'll see it's a bit different from what you thought it was.

According to previous posts, "The day of John Wyndham" refers to a book. The subject of the book is the clue for the cipher.

But I can't find anything usefull...???

HELP! Can't believe I'm sooo behind and soooo lame! I've read all the hints, I still can't figure out the username and password. I know it has something to do with

homophones...but I can't come up with the 2 words

. Word games are not my strong suit that's why I don't play crossword puzzles.. well apparently I'm no good at riddles either (
