I still haven't passed 39.
I know I have the right amount of triangles, I know how to convert it but my answer isn't accepted. This is so frustrating!

No, you have to count all triangles. Thus equilateral triangles, isosceles triangles and also scalene triangles. Maybe this is why you haven't found the right amount yet.
Edit: And mlbm is offline without replying to my PM. I hope he comes back soon. Edit: Yay, he is back.
