I'm about nuts now with Level 3.

I've taken the four capital letters: <<deleted by moderation>>
It doesn't take a huge anagram solver, because the only english word to be made from those letters of is "<<deleted>>."

I've tried it in lower case and upper case. I've tried variations (init cap, etc.).

I must have completely misread the hints (despite the fact that they pretty clearly said "take the capital letters and run them through an anagram solver - you should have four letters").

Perhaps I'm deeply retarded?

The first letter you got is wrong, search for another one. Otherwise you're on the right track.

Level 6: I've been shouting those words - loudly and proudly.

Nothing clicked, but I'm sure the cats were entertained, since they're now looking at me quizzically.

I'm also very well educated now about the history of that name, and might not have been otherwise. Did it help with getting the answer? No, of course not. But education is always a good thing. If there is something I'm missing, let me know!

Oh, and to give back a little:

The hints for level 4 are actually more confusing than the riddle itself, LOL (at least to me). The best hint is that google is your friend.

PS - thanks for the great puzzles! Hopefully I'll finish without a headache or the need to wound small creatures.
