Yeah, you might have some trouble, it seems there are a lot of American or English oriented clues in this one.Originally posted by tacjoe View Posthi you guys! i don't get 1A at all!
If you're really stuck, you have to look between the letters for a clue.
EDIT: Almost an hour, and I'm STILLlooking at the fading houses!

Puzzle 13a
Hello folks. I'd be grateful for a bit of a push on this puzzle. I'm tearing my hair out thinking about
the pocket pc software maker 'skb' and their world clock program, and any clock terms related to 'hammer' in the escapement...
Thanks!"I don't want to achieve immortality through my work; I want to achieve immortality through not dying. I don't want to live on in the hearts of my countrymen; I want to live on in my apartment."

Thanks--that narrows the deliberations a bit. But I'm still having a heck of time deciding what is figurative and what is literal in this picture.Originally posted by lesovmi View Postwrong direction, those are the initials of the real name of an individual who "sung" a song noted by the picture
I have a short list of ZERO artists who fit the initials! By the way, I gather it is an instrumental piece?"I don't want to achieve immortality through my work; I want to achieve immortality through not dying. I don't want to live on in the hearts of my countrymen; I want to live on in my apartment."

Hi Lovelylilyfairy.
Put the parts together like a rebus... Just make sure you get them in the right order. Don't overthink what the elements in the picture are, either.

Sorry if you already got an answer...
anagram the letters to understand why the houses get 'faint'..."I don't want to achieve immortality through my work; I want to achieve immortality through not dying. I don't want to live on in the hearts of my countrymen; I want to live on in my apartment."
