      Ever tried the view-source: function in Firefox or chrome?
      Also I'm certain there must be at least one bonus level that's new, since it's *above* 17 now.

        Of course I've tried, in fact, I spend more time going through the source codes than looking at the actual level. I've found the hints there but nothing worked, and I swear to God I've tried like 25 different solutions.

          hmm, that sounded a little unkind. Pretty sure it wasn't meant that way, but it sounded wrong, because when someone came this far in ebony he or she does know those basics, don't you think.

            Oh don't worry I didn't take it that way!) I know Ferelli meant the solution might be hidden somewhere in the sources? I did find those hints, I guess all of them, I'm just having troubles putting them together

              Oh sorry! What I meant by that was a lot of people don't know that you can type view-source: manually (I didn't know until the high 50's levels). That's pretty much the only way to see the sources in that level, unless you can click really fast. Appologies anyways.

                It's okay, and thank you for the help Ferelli! Turns out, I've found every source code on both ways - except the ones with the actual solutions That's my luck... But now I got it. Coldkick also helped me in private, thank you for him aswell!

                    oops, then i need to apoligize. Sorry, ferelli. I misunderstood what you wrote. And now I am curious. I use FF and the only way I know to view the source is: left click > view source. To get the info of pictures i use an exif viewer or notepad, same goes up for mp3 files (although you can access that info also via the source code). Plus the FF add-on Firebug also can provide useful information about the coding.

                    So would you two mind to explain me what you mean with viewing sources manually? and are there different kind of sources? I love to learn new tricks.

                      Typing view-source: in chrome or ff before the url will show the source of anything, be it an image, html file, or even mp3 file.

                          Hi everyone. I have finally decided to join this forum. I have been working through this riddle for about a year. (Level O57 * took me quite some time.) With all the hints you have been posting and with a little bit of 'sleeping on it' I have been able to get quite far. Now I am stuck on O58, titled V.

                          In the source I saw the comment about the big file and have tried using that to no avail. Can someone give another nudge?

                            Well it's not exactly the hint tag that you need, it's the source itself. The large file-sized image serves as a sort of guide.

                              I haven't played this since January where I got totally stuck on M53 and essentially gave up on the game. But I wanted to give it another shot.
                              I have heaps of information (which I won't include all of) but I don't know what's relevant. (I've found the conversation with the person and asked heaps of questions)

                              I'm thinking:


                              I have limited patience since I've already poured hours upon hours into this level (aaaahhh the frustration), so I don't mind major spoilers - I just want to get to the other levels.
