Wow, what a courage and power that woman Artemisia had. I understand why your are so interested in her and her work, it's really a fascinating story.
And if you think about it, isn't it amazing that a person like that is so unknown to the general public? Now there are a lot of women painters that art history has neglected unfortunately. My favorite book on the subject is Whitney Chadwicks Women, Art and Society . It is a very interesting reading...

Yes that happens all the time. But there is so much to learn about and learn of history. You can't know everything. You can try it, but there is still so much to found out. And the know how is growing bigger and bigger and changes through the time. Lots of what we learn about history now, can be wrong, because we find some new information or objects. Therefore I see history not as a exact subject.

True, wich means history as told i textbooks is not a constant, it alters as our values and view of the world changes. Even if it is not an exact sience it is so much fun ta work with... yaaay!
