Doc if you do a search online for smilies you can copy & paste them into you posts.
One of my faves is: http://www.smileymania.at/
It's a German Site but it has tons of smilies.
Be sure to go into your UserCP (top left of the front forum page/where ya went to change your avatar)
1. click "edit options"
2. Select "Enhanced Interface" from the drop down menu in the "Miscellaneous Options" section
3. Besure to click "Save Changes" at the bottom
