Yes, I also love to work outside, but unfortunate being a paraveterinary means working inside a veterinary clinic all day. I really miss my job as animal care taker. But I had to quit my job. My collegues were driving me literally crazy!! Sometimes I wish I had take that job as class assistent aswell animal taker at my old school. But me in front of a class?? I don't think I have the qualities for that.

Being an animal care taker sounds like a great job for someone like yourself, though being a paraveterinarian sounds even better for ya! Does the clinic make house calls to see horses, for example? Then you could maybe be out in da field a bit, too. A class assistant! Why do you think you don't have the qualities for that????

Hmm I am not sure why you think that being a paraveterinary is better for me. I only did go back to school because it is very hard to get a job as an animal caretaker. And of course I find it all very, very interesting.

Yes the vets of course visit companies and the animals of private persons (in Dutch particulieren) but they never take assistents with them. As a trainee I had the change a few times, but the vets which treat animals like pigs, cows, horses work on their own and are traveling the whole day from company to company. Only a few times a day they come to the clinic for new materials or a meeting. There is a line between vets which treat pets and vets which treat farm animals.

For the class asistent, well you see I am a bit nervous when I am in front of the class of have to speak in front a whole bunch of people (when aren't my relatives or friends). I am getting better in it through time and experience but I don't feel really comfortable.

I think you can always copy and past the best things or just make a copy of the links. I was thinking to do that myself, since we aren't sure if anyone is busy with writing a diary for Mystery.
