hey guys... my computer crashed I am getting a little concerned it might be gamershoods fault, I read some stuff the other day - and it wasn't good

@ lili, people don't fast at easter, they fast for lent - which is the 40 days before easter, for a brief overview
Shrove Tuesday - pancake day, people make pancakes, a tradition to get rid of the sugar and stuff before lent.
Ash Wednsday - The beginning of Lent when Christians are meant to fast for 40 days. (as that is how long Jesus was in the wilderness) The end of the fasting is...
Easter Sunday - Easter eggs are eaten to celebrate the end of fasting, and the egg is a symbol of new life (because Jesus rose from the dead) I'm not sure where the bunny comes from, but we have that too in England

that is very very brief, but at least it is a little understanding

But there is no pancake thingy in Greece, thaz a northern European tradition. I'm tellin' ya my Greek aunt is living on water and lentilsoup. And everybunny knows that at Easter eve everybunny stands in da churc and waits for da priest ta end his endless ceremony so they can all scream "Christos Anesti!!!"
The easter bunny is an invention that has to do with older traditions in the north of Europe. It was sorta "borrowed" by da christians, if ya know what I mean, ta help convert new countries to Christianity

The Easter bunny was an old German tradition. Because the rabbit is a sign of fertility and spring. Children believed that if they were good all winter the rabbit would give them colored eggs. I guess it just melded in with Easter.

@Dazed, I think it is a little different in the netherlands, but it sounds very much alike what I have heard of my grandfather.

Btw so only the Dutches have a hare in stead of a bunny.

Btw what do you mean with it's maybe GH's fault that your computer crashed and what have to read that you think that?

@Dazed..my computer went really crazy yesterday when I was in the middle of talking to everybunny. It was doing things that I've never seen before. I thought it needed some major medication!!!

Just like the Christmas tree then At least i am sure that was German - I think Prince Albert or someone brought it to England from there or something, from what I remember.

dazed, I don't think GH caused the problems on your computer. I have no experience I got a single virus since I joined GH, and my comp. keep working good. I wonder where everybunny you've mentioned above got the virus..

@ Dazed...I won't quote ya then. But I am wondering if those people who maybe had problems click on DOWNLOAD when the site has the problems like it had yesterday. I don't know. Just guessing. AVG is a free anti-virus that you can have running on top of the one you have, btw. If you want it.
