(Eh, I'm having a hard time trying not to laugh cause...that's something many people I know would want to do )

well I didn't WANT to do it.. it kind of just happened

It was some experiment, with taking clorophyl out of leaves or something, it was biology/chemistry... but our physics teacher was taking it, so no wonder it all went wrong!!

anyway, we kinda had to heat some acid stuff over a bunsen burner, and well i kinda turned around to chat with some friends... then I felt something that felt like water..
I turned around "OI JAMES STOP IT!! (I thought he was flicking water at me...) anyway, it turned out that the acid was spitting on me... I screamed, jumped up, knowcked the table, the bunsen burner fell over..... and well the rest his history..

kind of bad really, I got in a lottt of trouble, they said it was all my fault and I had about 2 weeks of detention


@ doglover, no i haven't left, I was playing a game I downloaded.. then was recalling this horrific incident

btw, it's very true, I even have little burn marks on my hand to prove it

Dazed!!! As a friend, I kind of want to chuckle with you/comfort you/take your side... as a teacher, I'm trying not to think of what I'd do if you were one of my students.

@ doglover - it only got a little burnt, just a few blisters, it was only little spots where the acid spitted on my hand, but its nothing major - you only notice it when it's pointed out
but yeah... it was an accident - I was far to talkative and cheeky at school, but I think most the teachers knew I didn't mean any harm!



@ crimson - lol... well it wasn't my physics tacher that was mad.. it was the head of science (he was verrry scary) but the thing was he put me in detention, until I wrote a statement about what had happened, admitting it was all my fault!! I should have told my parents really, but I was actually really scared! looking back though, I think he was a little out of order..

thats why detention took 2 weeks, because i refused to write that it was my fault for ages, I guess he didn't want me to sue imagine a 15 year old kid, even thinking about sueing their school!! I was more worried about this boy I fancied!!

but I still loooooved high school!!

That is on the one side a sad story, for you burning your hand, the room burned and the detension, but on the other side it is really funny! *giggles* Especially the 'OI JAMES STOP IT!!' My sister allways tells me off when I say OI!

I just know that, in elemenary, one of our science rules is "Don't Fool Around." And I think that chatting with your friends instead of watching your experiment would qualify as fooling around. I don't know that I would have given 2 weeks of detention, but...

yeah... well it was a little of my fault!! but I was in pain... and i still had to go to detention - I just had a quick bandage session with the school nurse

oh, ok... I admit it.. it was my fault!!! sorry teacher

anyway... I'm 9 years older now.. and 9 more years the wiser I hope!!
