Man, how bout calculus? For years you learn one way of solving problems then they give you this. I like calculus but it makes the rest seem funny now. Integrating and Deriving. between one and zero. Doesn't that explain life?

@Mistery..No not at all As a matter of fact I think the Algebra II class I took in High School was the hardest math class I ever took. Calculus and Trig made a lot more sense. Also we didn't have a very good teacher, she knew everything about math but couldn't really "teach" it. Maybe I was just dense though

@Crimson.. My friend who teaches always laughs that it's her job to basically lie to the kids and tell them there are no such things as negatives and imaginary numbers or that they'll learn about that stuff next year

Re: Math conversation--I loved taking algebra, but hated geometry. I never took trig/calc/anything beyond that.
