@GH1
Well, yeah, I agree about the wheel block, it is a dangerous thing. Gladly, I for one don't have a car now a' days so I am seldom in that predicament
@Escape
No snow? Lucky. Where I live, it's really snowy. Well, it just melted for a week ago (15 degrees celcius in the winter - Wow!) but the snow is back.

I should be going now. Gotta get up early to go to the hospital
And it's getting very cold. The temperature has dropped down to 3 degrees. And me is freezing
Good night my dear friends

@Kikki...WOW! Really? And yeah, I think I am too close to the ocean, and too far south for it. Though the funny thing is, we still get temps in the teens (fahrenheit) at times. But when it gets cloudy, it's usually too warm to snow. On rare (and I mean rare) occassion, I've seen it snow here....but it never sticks.
@Wolfie.....Aww...Okay, dear. I wish I could go with you to support you tomorrow. Extra caring for you, and I'll be thinking of you. Goodnight Rebecca.

@Kikki....And where I am in the USA, we have very boring weather normally. I like to look at the snow, but traveling in it, is a bit scary. I did that in December when I visited my mom.
@kikki....Okay. Bye for now!! And yeah, let's hope it's not even for ONE year.
@Gh1....Not sure if you're talking to me, but I'll answer your question. I have had to travel on icy roads several times - black ice. I don't like that. Makes me nervous. I know it's out there, but you can't see it. Otherwise, traveling through snowy/icy roads only about 5 - 10 times ever.
it is scary eh... how many times have you travelled on snowy slippery roads?
I live in Sweden where it is snowy and slippery in the north between 6-8 months of the year. I have had all kinds of winter related problems with cars. Out here we call it "dancing" when the car suddenly doesn't obey
it sucks when you are blinded by the snowfall... literally.....it's sometimes cool when it's light and it looks hypnotizing though
dancing eh....... i spun around in my ex-girlfriends car before and went off road.. lucky into a "parking lot"..... i wasn't used to driving standard and i was goofing around
but i've fish-tailed before while driving and you can feel the road taking control sometimes.. i think i tend to let go of the gas and steer lil bits left and right... or brake a lil bit too(it depends) sometime i hit the gas to to get traction on the road
@GH1
Yeah, well, whatever you do don't drive a Saab if you are afraid ta get fishtails and spins. A Saab doesn't fishtail it just goes straight ahead. A car teach once told me: "Well there are ways to deal with a fishtail but with a Saab... uh... don't try that with a Saab"
