@Shining...You know, my non monkey boss's wife came in, and she was carrying her 6 month old, and he was in his PJ's. I joked that I should get to have a PJ day at work. LOL I told her to talk him into allowing that.

Escape: haha! they should let you have a casual friday, then you could wear your PJs but then they might say thats TOO casual

@Shining....Well, I'm already allowed to wear jeans to work. So I really shouldn't complain. But I like the idea of coming in my jammies, and then adding naptime to the work day.

I just found out that my co-worker scheduled an appt on the day I was to take off for my birthday celebration in Reno, and now I can't take the day off!!!!! And my friend already got his day off approved. (He is only off on my work days. So we were each gonna take a day off to hang out. )*cries*

opps phone call kept me busy, :0 no day off for your birthday well thats just but didn't you put your in first?! thats not fair! stupid monkey boss!!! awww poor escape can your friend reschedule his day? or is it not enough notice? oh I hope you will be able to work it out for the better

Thank you, dear Shining. No, she really can't reschedule. She really needs to see this specialist, and that was the soonest they could see her. So, I DO understand. But I'm beyond bummed out right now. I never do anything for my birthday, and this was all set up, and I was really looking forward to it. I talked to my boss - and I have to work.

@Shining...Well, I haven't seen my friend since last summer, and he works shifts from 6 pm - 6 a.m. And he works weekends. So, I already was gonna work ON my birthday (04/01) and not do anything as it's a weeknight anyway. But my friend had already requested Sunday off, and I was already taking Monday off. (It's almost a 5 hour drive to Reno.) And he has a hard time getting time off at his job. So, I can't really do it anytime soon now...

awww I'm really sorry Escape maybe at a later date you can take a late birthday day off when your friend will be able to get off again well I think you will get a big birthday here on GH and I think I know what a kitty likes most

Escape: it's going alright trying to redo my resume to sent to a job, trying to think of a good way of writing out a cover letter or something it sucks
