I am in sales, as you probably know, and I had an order pending for about a week with an important customer. The manager told me it would be here thursday, then on thursday friday, then on friday monday. It didn't show up on monday either. So I called our purchasing department to track the order. Apparently it was never ordered, and there wasn't any close by. So I called him on lie-ing and he appologized. Then I spoke to my boss and he jumped all over me like it was my fault. Then asked why I wasn't driving to get it myself. I only have 560 customers to take care of so I was busy, and I was told Hayward didn't have it. Bosses rarely see "the big picture", you know?

@Skell....Oh geez!! Some people!! You would think the boss wouldn't take his anger/frustration out on you. Tell him if he's willing to fly you to Tahiti in exchange for going to pick up the part in say, Colorado, or something, you'll be more than happy to do it.
He'll get the picture.
