Are you talking about avatars?
Well, if you don't want to use one of our default avatars, you can google "avatars", and you'll get a lot of pages from where you can get them, (e.g. here http://www.avatarist.com/)Comment

Save it to your pc, then go to User CP, choose Edit Avatar, and upload it there. Please read the note about the image size.Comment

That's not a stupid question at all.
We all have to start somewhere, right?
To upload an avatar from your own computer, you go to USER CP, then you click on EDIT AVATAR on the left hand side. It will show a list of all the preset avatars that are already there. However, if you want to upload one from your PC, then you want to scroll down to the small section that says, "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer." Click on BROWSE. Then locate the pic you want to use on your computer. Be sure you selected the little bubble above that that says, "USE CUSTOM AVATAR" Once you have located your pic click on SAVE CHANGES. To upload an avatar from a link, you need to go to the user CP, then click on Edit Avatar, and enter there the link to the image (without the href tag, just the full link).Comment
