US, I was just reading back... I'm surprised that the military isn't providing you with a doctor who can take care of your leg! There are military hospitals all over the country--couldn't you go to one of those rather than having to find a leg on your own?
@Heart-- Nah, I don't feel like getting out again today.
Maybe so, but why should you have to deal with it? If you were injured on active duty, the military has a responsibility to care for you. You shouldn't have to deal with it or worry about finding a new leg.
Crimson - Oh I see Well you could order a pizza and when they ask for money just say "I was hungry" or someting
U.S. Marine - I was just reading what you guys were talking about and I agree You should go to one of these hospital things so the military can care for their veterans after all you did serve for them
@US--Oh, really? Are you doing it with a regular prosthetics doctor? I'm surprised the military would even allow that... I'd think they'd want you to go through their own doctors in case there was a problem later, so you wouldn't be responsible for it then. Regardless, I'm happy to hear your getting a new one soon. Hopefully in time for your wedding!
