Oh yeah,here's another place on the Turquoise Trail,in the old mining town of Madrid,The Mineshaft Tavern. I've played there a couple of times over the years,it's a great place.

Great country to ride in around here,lotsa twisty mountain roads & ghost towns & old Spanish & Indian ruins,makes for a great day trip that ends at Molly's.

Molly's is one of those places that looks like a dive biker bar (& a lot of bikers hang out there,) but it's one of the nicest places to go hear a good band & have a cold drink & a good pizza on the patio in the summer.I've played there since 1994 & have made many friends there.

It does have it's share of characters though,like Reverend Roger.He looks like Charlie Manson's brother but really is an ordained minister (he's licensed to perform weddings & has married friends of ours) & a helluva nice guy.
Then there's Eunice the Bearded Lady,I call her the Wife Of The Troll That Lives Under The Bridge,but she has 2 PHDs & is a fantastic cook,she's also very sweet,she has a standing invite to my annual party.

Romeo,the owner,has a very strict policy: if you start any trouble,you will be at best,banned for life & at worst,turned over to the police,most likely in damaged condition.

It's 7 miles east of the Albuquerque city limits,at the Tijeras/Cedar Crest exit,take the left fork,it's on your right as you come down the hill
