Locked in a hotel during a storm

*Looking for a way to cross the cavern Dazed turns towards the way they came in...high above the enterance Dazed saw a circular object shimmering against the dark rock*
Hey I think it's a button, wait here Lilli!!
*Dazed scrambles up the rock face, being careful not to slip of the wet rock, finally she reaches the button and presses it. A low rumbilng sound....A bridge!!*
Quick Lilli, run across the bridge, I'm sure I heard Escape over there!
*Lilli looks scared, but does as Dazed says, she runs across the bridge into the darkness. Dazed clambers back down the rock face to the platform. Suddenly the same rumbling sound starts...*
QUICK LILLI, THE BRIDGE IS GOING!!
*The bridge starts to retreat back into the rock walls, knowing there is no time to climb back up and press the button, all Dazed can do is watch...and wait*
It's o.k, we're here
*Lilli gasps and appears in the light, she dives for the platform just in time, then the bridge was gone. Dazed hugs Lilli in relief, then notices Lilli has someone with her.*
Holland, I thought it was Escape girl, but it's you!!! good, one room down, 5 to go..come on Holland, room 8 next...me and Lilli will fill you in on the way. Huh, where'd Becky and freakshow go, we left them just here sleeping..I hope they are o.k

Story So Far.....

o.k. basically we have been trying to work out what has happened to the hotel..it's been really wierd with blood everywhere, lights out and stuff. We thought Freakshow was a bad guy, but found out it was just because of a chip he had in his neck...or at least that's what we think at the moment
We've had lots of Adventures, but many members have gone missing and we need to find them, so that is what we are doing now. I found some numbers right at the start, and we have just gone into room 4 (which was a cave) the first number on the list...and we found you the next number is 8, so we are going to room 8 now...oh and Becky and Freakshow have disappeared!

Ok, so room nr 8. Wow, this room looks like a great place to dance! *Hollandgirl starts jumping up and down* Suddenly the floor crashes and for the third time I fall down... Damn, somebody help me, please?

[doglover]

Damn, you're stuck again? Can't you keep yourself out of danger?!? Jeezzz...
*Pulls Hollandgirl and asks her if she's okay*

oh Holland, that's the wrong room...
*Pulls holland out of hole* See look, it's room six...*Dazed wipes a bit of dirt away from the door number, and now clearly looks like a 6*
Room 8's down this corridor, past the Elevators...
*Lilli Becky and Dazed turn the corner to room 8's corridor, when suddenly Dazed stops*
Shh...look there near the elevator, it looks like Becky and Freakshow...and...err who's that?

uhm yeah, i'm ok, gets the dust out of her clothes. quickly catches up with dazed nd lilli. omg.. who is that? it looks like freakshow! but.. that's freakshow! *points at the freakshow standing outside the elevator*

you're right!! I thought that at first, but thought I was seeing things!! but if you can see it too, it must be! shhhh...we have to be quiet
*tries to get Becky's attention* Pssssssssssstt.......Becky

"Becky, believe me. I'm the real Freakshow." H.e..He is a fraud. How do I make you believe? Ok maybe this will prove it...remember the time when we hugged and you bit me. It was me..not this guy. And I wanted the 1000th post in silly thing and Adventure got it. I was so angry that time..and and.. A..a..remember the toy gun. We turned everyone to aliens. Ohh becky please please believe me.
Stop it Freakshow...do you think I don't believe you? Ofcourse I know that you are the real one. There can be only one Freakshow and that's YOU. They both stand there in silence.
"Come on now..lets not waste time. We need to find out who this guy is before he wakes up."
Becky examines at the figures neck. "Freakshow, don't you think this looks a bit odd. The skin of his face doesn't match the skin of his neck and look at this..the skin has come off..Wait a minute...he is wearing a mask."
Becky carefully tries to take the mask off his face..*the figure opens his eyes* and he punches Becky in the face and throws her out of the elevator before she could retaliate. The figure presses a button and the elevator door shuts. Freakshow tries to stop the elevator but he can't. They both press their ears to hear where the elevator is going but all in vain. They can't hear a thing.
Ouch...Becky feels her nose. *I think he broke my nose*

Freakshow and Becky sees Dazed, Lilli, Hollandgirl and Doglover coming towards them.

[Slimy Jim]

Meanwhile, in another room

Light. Light at last. Slimy Jim opens his eyes. He is lying on a cold stone floor, tied at the wrists and feet. "Where am I?" The thought echoes though his fat head. He tries to move but can't. He is paralyzed. He is helpless, so he does all that he can by trying to piece together the events that led him here. He could not not remember much. In his head, he saw a vague image of a terrible monster, but it vanished. He thought of Lilli and Adventure, of Dazed and Becky, of Hollandgirl and Doglover and of Freakshow. He remembered the argument he had had with Freakshow only a couple of days before this terrible incident. Of how he had locked him in the jail cell until he apologized. Then it hit him. Freakshow had never said sorry. Slimy had never let him out of the jail cell. Even Freakshow couldn't have escaped from there. The real Freakshow must still have been in that cell, all alone.
*thump* a noise *thump* there it was again. At first Slimy was relieved. His friends had come to rescue him *thump* He was going to be saved, they had defeated the monster and they were coming to get him *thump* It was then he had second thoughts.*thump* what if this was the monster? *thump* What if the monster had come to get him? *thump* There was nothing he could do but watch and lie motionless as the door opened and a figure stood in the doorway, shrouded in shadow...

At the elevator

Becky, OMG we saw everything, are you o.k. gosh your nose doesn't look too good - I hope it doesn't stay like that.
*The group hug each other, so glad that everyone is still alive. Dazed explains to Becky and Freakshow about the numbers, and how they found Holland. Dazed turns around*
Ok here we are, outside room 8, and look the keyhole has the same pattern again...my number theory must be right. I wonder who we can rescue in here.
*Dazed opens the door and the group steps in. The room is average in size, however a pool takes up most of the room, leaving only the thin ledge that the group are standing on.*
Wow I'm hot, says Lilli...I could do with a dip!!
Hold it!! *Dazed pulls Lilli back* it might not be water! *Dazed takes of her shoe and dangles it in the water...nothing happens* o.k. I think it's safe.
*The group look at the pool, although clear blue, the water gives them a strange feeling...none of them can see the bottom. The group look around, the smooth walls are plain white, and stretch so high they can not see the ceiling*
Well it looks like the only way to go is in the pool! ...*Dazed steps back* well don't look at me, I can't swim - any volunteers??

Uhm, I'm not sure.. maybe we should drop a coin or something until we hear it hit the bottom? I can swim, ofcourse, i'm dutch, but what if there are dangerous animals in here?

[Eternal Becky]

"Don't look at me Dazed. I know nothing about swimming." Any other volunteer? Freakshow, Lilli, Hollandgirl and Doglover discuss about who will dive in the water.
Becky gives a sign to Dazed to come away from the group.
"Dazed, I have a hunch about the person who was in the elevator. *ouch my nose still hurts* "I might be wrong......."
Suddenly they see Lilli jumping in the water. They go back to the group.
"Lilli is everything fine?"
"Ohh yeah the water is nice and cool." Suddenly her expression changes.
"What's the matter Lilli?"
"Ahh...something is pulling me inside the water." *AHHHHHHHHHHHH*
