It's very hard to lose someone from your family. I hope that your family sticks together through this difficult time, and you can support each other

My grandfather passed away yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to see him, because he lived in another country. I sent encouraging messages and good news through my aunt who visited him on Wednesday in hospital. He was very happy to hear the good news from us, and this gave him a bit of comfort. On Friday my mom could visit him, too, but then he was already in a very bad condition. However, I'm very happy that my mom and he could say goodbye to each other, this was for both of them very important. Though it's very hard to lose him, I think in the situation it was the best: he got some good news which made him happy, and then was able to see his daughter one last time. Then he fell quietly asleep.
    I miss you grandpa

CF your grandpa knows that you are there. He know that you care and he loves you. He will always be there with yu, no matter what had happens, I know from personal expirience My grandpa died after 5 years of cancer (doctors couldn't believe he lasted so long), and the last 3 years I lost 2 more family members. I see often my grandfather in my dreams, that he comes for a visit for xmas, or to eat with us and even I know that he will go soon and never seen him again. Most of the time I was affraid to speak to him, but the last time I saw him I hugged him and he was happy. From that time I know that when people we love die they are always protect as, and advice us. Hunny your family, friends and online friends will always be there for you.

Mistery, Escape, my deepest sympathies. I hope you soon fine your strength to find your smile.
Death is my worst fear, I don't like loosing my fav persons that I grow with. To everyone that had lost a person very close to them (or not) I give them a big and I wish they will smile again, sooner or later

Damn. I hate that so many people around here are losing loved ones... but it's comforting to know that there are people are dealing with similar situations so we can commiserate and sympathize with each other.

As far as my grandmother... it's been two weeks since she fell and one week since my dad and his brother and sister moved her to a nursing home. There's a chance she has cancer, and she could go today or might make it another year or two. The doctors don't think she has very long... and she wants to die. I'm hoping that she'll hold on until Thanksgiving so I and the rest of my family can see her.

@Mistery--I'm so sorry, dear. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Awwwwww. I'm sorry to hear this, Mistery. I knew he wasn't doing well. But you're right, if he had to leave, that's one of the better ways to go. It's wonderful he had such a loving family, near and far. And I can tell he would have known how much you care.

This is eerie. One of my best friends I've known since we were 14, lost his grandfather on Tuesday. He's in the area for the funeral and all, and I will seem him tomorrow.

To all of you. I hope the memories and your friends and families can help you through this very tough times.
