Virgo- well i'm a guy and yeah we act stupid but seriously those guys are seriously screwed up... i have one of the most impolite, annoying, and fowl mouthed eighth grade but even they don't push girls around.

Today was a bad day bad day today... Bad things for this day today....

First at school I tripped in public and fell on my arm! That hurt alot! Then I got a C on my music test
And then when I came home I had no Internet For an whole hour and a half! Doesn't sound bad but it IS! I missed a cool party on Club Penguin! And on top of that when my mom came home she nagged me cuz I left Garfield in the kitchen accidentally and he ate some food left on the table!

last night my best friend had a fight with her bf and they kinda broke up and he couldnt take it so he committed suicide this morning. i havent been able to stop thinking about him. she feels like it is all her fault and shes been crying all day. ive been trying to cheer her up but nothing is working. if you have advice, words of comfort, or anything please say them... it would be greatly appreciated

Oh, Swimgirl... I'm so sorry. My cousin committed suicide several years ago, and though it affects everyone differently, I can understand some of the grief and pain you and your friend must be experiencing. Because of the circumstances, your friend may wish to seek counseling to help her deal with the guilt that came with his death. I don't have any words that will necessarily make you or her feel better, but know that I send my deepest regrets.

One idea--I wouldn't try to cheer her up right now. She probably doesn't want to feel happy or positive right now, and that's a normal part of the grieving process. Just continue to be there for her... you don't necessarily have to say anything, but just lend her a shoulder to cry on.

That is terrible. My condolences go to you and your friend. I can't imagine how you and your friend must be feeling. I wish there was some helpful words that I could give you, but I don't think anything will make the pain go away quickly. I would just suggest that you and your friend be there for each other. There is nothing that can help you deal with tragedy better than someone to lean on. Talk to your families, talk to a therapist, talk to anybody that can help you vent your grief. Most of all make sure your friend knows its not her fault and be there for her when she needs you. The pain will not go away quickly, but knowing there is somebody there for you makes a big difference.

She knows I am here for her and she knows that I always have been. Ive been best friends with her since kindergarten. Its just so hard, every day she would be texting him in the morning and laughing and telling me what she said and how he reacted. They were perfect for each other too. And what makes it even harder is that her cousin just did the same not too long ago also. So she was ‘hit’ practically twice. i know the pain wont go quickly i just wish it would be easier to cope with. and im not trying to cheer her up per say, im just trying to get her to think of the good times they shared...
