Yes I know there are many dominations in the Christianity (but I didn't know how to call it in English ). And please don't try to explain all the differents between them. I have already had that in school and some few years ago my hubby explained it to me as well, but like you see, I already forgot the most of it. Too many other things in my head!

Yes I remember that conversation. I am sorry to hear it is censured in the Swedish version of the protestant bible. But I think you have the uncensored version already in your book case. Or am I wrong?

Also, you should not be suprised there are so many replies. Whether you have a religion or not, it is a subject of faith, belief and hope...which are very strong to every individual. Many wars have been fought over the subject, and therefore religious thoughts or beliefs should never be taken lightly.

Ha! No I don't actually, cuz I'd have to choose between a bible in latin or a bible in ancient greek. The bible has been poked at for centuries and it is really a lot more simple to have books on the subject then the real thing itself. I'm not a theologist so I don't really need to have the original version.

I think god is real for everyone who thinks it real. And I think God is very real. Otherwise there weren't any religions

Since we are on religion, and this is the "Don't you just hate it when..." thread, I felt I could voice a small opinion. I am not necessarily religious. I simply don't know what I think. I'm agnostic. However, I don't think that anyone should be treated poorly or left out like what happened to Adventure. I don't think it's fair to leave people out like that especially when church is supposed to be so accepting, and God understanding.

The other thing about religion in particular that bothers me are people saying they are offended in the 10 Commandments being posted outside a Federal Building (USA) or having a national debate about whether "under God" should remain in the Pledge of Allegiance (USA) or not, even though it's been in the speech for DECADES. As for the 10 Commandments, no one is forcing you took walk up to the national monument that has had that inscribed since it was created, and stare a it. As for the pledge of allegiance, if you don't believe in it, no one is trying to offend you, just don't say that part. I don't think people should force religion on anyone, but in that same respect, no one should be "offended" because other people practice their religion. I don't know. I just don't think others should be able to tell another person what that person should, or should not think. To each his/her own. But, that's only my opinion.
