Congrats Kate, hopefully the hints helped in some way, the code would have read as in the spoiler if I have worked your fab symbols out correctly.

the code would have worked like this
N E W S
1 7 3 2
and the symbols would have been 21237332 (south(2), north(1), south(2), west(3), east(7) , west(3), west(3) and finally south (2) )

Please help i can't get my camera to work for the news. have put cd in and get nothing.......please help

Here is the walkthrough for those still stuck.

Take the bottom right pin from the white note on the wall.
You can use it to open the secret CD drawer under the letter E.
Click another time on the white note and you get a screwdriver. Press the button and watch the writings on the “W” wall.
Click where the screwdriver was until you find a box. You need a key to open it.
Face the “S” wall, use the screwdriver on the right corner on the floor to get the keycard under the carpet. Use the key to open the door.
Go into the other room.
Take the stick on the floor to the left and the hook from the paper on the wall.
Select the stick in your inventory and add the hook.
Pull down the door that is on the ceiling (top right) of the S wall.
On the right side of the column there is a key maker, but you need to find the password.
Open and close the CD drawer several times and a key will fall in the basket.
Use the key on the small box behind the white paper to open it and get the pliers.
Select the screwdriver in your inventory and then use the pliers on it.
In front of the wall N there is another secret box on the floor (straight down from the N).
Open it and get the CD. Get the orange panel.
Select the orange panel in your inventory, examine it and flip it (click its shadow), get the metal piece and look at the symbols.
Put the metal piece between the wires.
Put the CD in the CD drawer and the writings on the “W” wall will change: you can see now the word “NEWS” (North, East, West and South) on the wall followed by four numbers (numbers change in each game). Look at the symbols at the back of the orange panel (they also change in each game) and match them to the numbers (the two legs of the U point to different directions. Translate these directions into numbers).
Use the code panel to enter the password and get a key. Use the key to open the door and get a second CD. Use the key to open the hatch of the grey column. There is a ladder there.
Use the ladder or use the CD in the CD player to escape (two endings)!

whoop whoop i suck at these games but i finsihed this one 5 minutes my second go

i finished the first time in 35 minutes =O

I click the recipient in the floor (at north wall) for more than 80 times. Nothing happens. ؟Where is that CD? And the pliers? Oh, come on, I'm stupid, or this game is so hard?

Ok, everybody speaks about "NEWS". but , where is that word? All I've seen was japanese Kanjis.

Goku, there is a walkthrough some postings before.

Use the tap key on your keyboard, places, where you can click with mouse are yellow highlightedI don't know your language on my keyboard its on the left side, there are two arrows on

first you find a CD case under the E with projektor light; with pinneedle click in the little black hole. then close the CD case, then pick again open, ca. 5 times and a key fall in the bin on the earth

first right bottom you clicked and got the pin, click there again an there is a switch on off, turn it on (=> you will see a picture on the west wall click again the poster on the right bottom, you can see the screwdriver, then click in the case top and you will see a little door, therefor is the key from CD/bin
