it says it's a "shifty" message so use that kind of cipher. but i have trouble with the right syllabication so that i can translate it correctly. does anyone know?

I was going for the "twisted" part, I cant find anything for "shifty"!

This cipher is actually a lot simpler than the clue makes it sound. I couldn't get the message to appear perfectly but it was only a few letters out and didn't disguise the meaning.

I have also translated the message again not perfectly, just trying to figure out what the answer is now!!

Thank you Kuang. Got it at last after MANY permutations of the name. I at first tried the whole name, then the second name. Then i googled again and got first name. At first i thought it was a person, i mean, i read da vinci.

Is it a cipher we used before? I googled "shift cipher" and got Caesar's Cipher.

any hints for url? I have decoded the message and got what I think is a fairly good translation but I cant seem to find what the actual answer is, I have tried various combinations of words, and I have googled til I can google no more (although I will not be beaten!!) So for now I am stuck, unless one of you lovely people out there can help me with a hint!!
